Premium construction

The Pavilion Solar EnPod solar canopies are constructed with high strength USA sourced structural aluminum featuring architectural quality finishes and treatments. You no longer need to sacrifice beauty for durability.

Hurricane
Ready

EnPods are designed and engineered to Florida Building Code in High Velocity Hurricane Zones, the strictest hurricane building code in America.  Even if you’re not in Florida, the EnPods are designed to withstand extreme weather anywhere.

Streamlined
Permitting

Permitting can be a nightmare when it comes to installing a solar canopy in Florida, Texas, or any other state with tough building codes. We provide engineering documents so you won’t need to pay engineers thousands of extra dollars and delay your install.

Go solar, Beyond your Roof

Been thinking about going solar but your roof isn’t eligible? Or maybe you just don’t want solar panels on your roof. Perhaps you already have solar panels but want to offset more of your energy usage. Make a statement with an EnPod solar pergola. Not only do the EnPods look great with any architectural home style, they also cost less than many premium pergolas that have no solar panels and unlike traditional pergolas, the EnPods pay for themselves over time!

offset your carbon footprint

If you own electric vehicles, the energy generated by one EnPod in a year is enough to fully offset all of the energy needed to charge multiple electric vehicles, and still have enough left over to offset other electric usage! But you don’t have to own an EV to reap the benefits of the energy generated by your EnPod. Because they are meant to be tied to your utility grid, they offset any of your home’s energy use.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • By placing your refundable deposit, you are reserving your spot in the first limited run of the EnPods. First deliveries and installations are expected in July of 2024. Prior to commencement of production, we will contact you to complete the sales process and connect you with a preferred installer in your area. If at any time prior to that you change your mind, just reach out to us at reservations@pavilionsolar.com for a refund of your deposit.

  • The EnPods will be available through preferred installers and the cost of the entire system installed will start around $20,000*. Please note that other solar canopies you see online do not include installation in their pricing and it’s important to remember site specific engineering and customization to meet hurricane building codes can cost thousands of dollars, a cost you won’t incur with the EnPods.

*This cost estimate includes the 30% federal tax credit. Does not include local or state incentives that could bring the price down even more!

  • First deliveries and installations are planned for the second half of 2024, starting in Florida, then Texas, then California. Other states to follow. When you place a deposit you’ll be assigned a spot in line and we will keep you updated on production schedule.

  • It depends on your electricity consumption. According to the US EIA, the average American home consumes 10,791kWh per year or about 899kWh per month. With this level of consumption, one EnPod would save you you around 75% on your electricity bill. If you have higher usage or are planning on increased usage from an EV or other electrification, you could consider multiple EnPods since they are modular.

  • 14’4” wide X 18’ long X 9’7” tall

  • Yes! There are standard colors for the structure but if you have a specific color in mind, we can do it! The optional decorative inner panels can also be swapped out at any time and the options of material are sustainable bamboo, carbon fiber, or locally sourced living moss.

  • This depends on your level of skill in construction and how many equally experienced helpers you’ll have. We highly recommend using one of our preferred installers who have training and experience installing the EnPods . If you do have the experience and resources to DIY, please contact us for pricing and assembly instructions for the structure itself.

  • Yes! Pairing the EnPods with battery storage provides backup power during outages and emergencies. Your preferred installer will guide you through the options for battery storage.

  • No! The EnPods generate energy that will offset your energy consumption regardless of whether you own an electric vehicle. Having said that, if you do own or are planning to purchase an EV, the EnPods are the perfect match since they will offset the energy consumed to charge your EV, eliminating your transportation carbon footprint and saving you money on your electric bill.

  • EnPods can be placed anywhere on your property with sufficient space and solar exposure (i.e. minimal shading)

  • Yes! This is a very common request from homeowners that want to offset more of their energy use but have no more roof space or just want to add an EnPod to their existing system. Depending on the size of your current system, the cost to add EnPods will be lower because you already have hardware in place!

  • Yes! but contact us for specific sites to determine feasibility. If being used as an outdoor living area then yes they are perfect for this. If, however, being used in high traffic areas for parking they may not be the best alternative. We’re happy to take a look at your specific sites at no charge.
